The Mango Farm (a Fruitas Company)

We were just done with dinner when we bumped into The Mango Farm’s stall at SM Seaside Cebu. My eyes caught this very striking picture of their Mango Sago Shake so I immediately stopped and decided to give it a go. I guess a little twist of our usual mango shake is just what we need after a hearty dinner meal. When we checked their menu, The Mango Farm offers a variety of desserts & beverages with mango being the star concoction. They give new meaning to this popular pinoy summer drink.

The staff was nice and answered some of my queries. The company has been in the business for some time. Little did we know, The Mango Farm is associated with the Fruitas Group of Companies – a known producer of fruit shakes and other fruit beverages. For comparison, we ordered the Classic Mango Shake and Mango Sago (that did catch my attention from the get go). I like how the shake was prepared. Clean, simple and tasty. It is also not very sweet too. There was milk, sugar syrup and mango in it. Chunks of fresh mango, tapioca, milk, sugar syrup and mango shake consist the Mango Sago. It is also not too sweet and the combination of the tapioca and chunky mango fruit is a great pair. We got a little confused where to classify this, if it’s a drink or a dessert – probably both! Overall, I like both drinks. I would buy again and recommend to fruit shake fanatics. Their mangoes look lovely and fresh. According to the staff/cashier, these mangoes were locally grown and produced, therefore we are getting the best mango fruit there is in the country. Because, Cebu mangoes rock, right?

Take a look at their menu. I, myself, would like to try their other offerings next time. I’m definitely eyeing  Mango Tango and Wild Hula-Hula Bomb. I will update this post after I taste more of their drinks.
